Frequently Asked Questions

Have dental questions or want to know more about Kessler Park Dental? If so, then you’ve come to the right place! Below, you’ll find answers to some of the most common questions our team receives every day. If you have a question that we haven’t touched on here, be sure to give us a call and ask. We’re always happy to talk to you and make sure you understand all of your dental options.

How often should my family get checkups and cleanings?

According to Dr. Martinez, as well as the American Dental Association, patients of all ages should receive at least two checkups and cleanings each year. This is the most effective and conservative way to prevent tooth decay, cavities, and gum disease long-term.

Do you accept children?

Yes! Our team is happy to treat every member of your family, including its youngest members! We have plenty of experience with toddlers, school-aged children, and teens, so we’ll know just how to keep your child comfortable and relaxed while we provide the age-appropriate services their growing smile needs.

Can you help with dental emergencies?

Yes! If you or a loved one is currently experiencing a lot of dental pain due to an accident or severe toothache, just give our office a call, and we’ll work to see you as quickly as possible. We’re often able to treat emergency patients the same day that they call in!

What can you do to make my smile look better?

Pretty much every service we provide has some aesthetic benefit, but to really take your smile to the next level, we have a selection of cosmetic treatments. Whether you’re looking to get rid of noticeable stains, chips, cracks, or gaps in your teeth, Dr. Martinez can provide everything you need to smile with complete confidence.

I’m really nervous about visiting the dentist…is there something that can help with my anxiety?

For our more anxious patients, we’re happy to provide them with sedation dentistry. This approach uses safe and proven techniques to calm nervous minds and protect patients from discomfort at the same time. Whether going to the dentist makes you feel a little tense or completely terrified, our team will do everything they can to ensure you enjoy a relaxing and refreshing experience.

What is the best way to replace my missing teeth?

For most patients hoping to fill in the gaps in their smile, we would highly recommend dental implants. It is the only treatment that replaces an entire tooth both above and below the gum line, delivering a result that is virtually indistinguishable from nature. They can be used to replace any number of teeth, and with the proper maintenance, they can easily last for 30 years or more.

Will you accept my dental insurance?

In all likelihood, yes! Kessler Park Dental is an in-network provider for several dental insurance plans, and we work to maximize our patients’ benefits at every appointment. To learn how we can use your specific plan to help you save, contact us today.

Is there a way to make my care more affordable without insurance?

Yes! We offer our own in-house membership plan that has many of the same benefits as a traditional insurance plan for a fraction of the cost! One low annual fee gives you access to a wide variety of completely covered and highly discounted services. We also have easy to understand, low-to-no interest financing available as well. You can learn more about each option on our New Patients page.
